{"id":25065,"date":"2021-04-15T09:14:04","date_gmt":"2021-04-15T09:14:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/75.103.67.20\/~jafco\/?p=25065"},"modified":"2021-04-15T15:32:24","modified_gmt":"2021-04-15T15:32:24","slug":"assistant-house-parent-child-care","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/75.103.67.20\/~jafco\/assistant-house-parent-child-care\/","title":{"rendered":"Assistant House Parent\/Child Care \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This person will provide a safe and structured home environment as well as provide for the physical needs of the children residing in the Group Home.\u00a0 This person will provide relief to and assist the House Parent<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide for the physical needs of the children<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, or arrange for, daily meals and snacks<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and structured home environment<\/li>\n<li>Clean home daily, including but not limited to mopping, dusting, laundry, keeping drawers and closets neat<\/li>\n<li>Assist with transportation to and from school<\/li>\n<li>Assist with transportation to extracurricular activities<\/li>\n<li>Provide daily recreational time<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance with homework as needed<\/li>\n<li>Insure proper hygiene routines<\/li>\n<li>Insure proper medication distribution and document appropriately<\/li>\n<li>Mindfully integrate the Trauma Informed Care Model and Person-Centered Approach into all procedures, practices, and daily interactions<\/li>\n<li>Attend staff meetings and in-services as required<\/li>\n<li>Provide relief to House Parents and perform house parents\u2019 responsibilities while working<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Education Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalency<\/li>\n<li>Previous work-related experience in childcare preferred<\/li>\n<li>CPR, First Aid and Water Safety certification<\/li>\n<li>Must be capable of becoming PCM Practitioner Level 2 Certified<\/li>\n<li>Available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License and clean driving record required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EOE<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row fullwidth=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<a class=\"jv-button jv-button--orange\" href=\"https:\/\/jewish-option.docuware.cloud\/Docuware\/Platform\/WebClient\/Forms\/application-form?orgID=23de9974-eaf4-47d0-bc30-6c7d464fa8cd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Apply now<\/a> <a class=\"jv-button jv-button--gray\" style=\"float: right;\" href=\"\/careers\">Careers<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>[srp post_limit=&#8221;10&#8243;
