{"id":11219,"date":"2021-05-07T10:00:41","date_gmt":"2021-05-07T10:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/75.103.67.20\/~jafco\/?p=11219"},"modified":"2021-06-03T16:29:11","modified_gmt":"2021-06-03T16:29:11","slug":"r-n-l-p-n-childrens-ability-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/75.103.67.20\/~jafco\/r-n-l-p-n-childrens-ability-center\/","title":{"rendered":"R.N. \/ L.P.N \u2013 Children\u2019s Ability Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Full Time 40 hours per week evening and weekend hours as needed\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This person will oversee and provide for the medical and physical needs of the children who receive services at the JAFCO Children\u2019s Ability Center, while ensuring best health and wellness practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This person\u2019s job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administer all medication per physician\u2019s orders<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for all medical documentation as per agency policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Implement all doctors\u2019 recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Provide for the physical needs and provide all First Aid for the children<\/li>\n<li>Ensure\/provide proper daily hygiene of the children including bathing, toilet, first aid and wound care<\/li>\n<li>Train staff and supervise proper hygiene practices, bathing, toileting, first aid and wound care<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and hazard-free home environment<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of the team and assist with childcare<\/li>\n<li>Attend staff meetings and in-services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Job Requirements:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Must be physically capable of driving an automobile in a safe manner.\u00a0 Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stoop, bend, kneel, stand\/walk up to 4 hours, and be capable of continuous activity with children; must be able to perform housekeeping duties such as mopping and vacuuming large areas; must be physically able to participate in PCM training (Professional Crisis Management).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse<\/li>\n<li>Past experience working with children with developmental disabilities<\/li>\n<li>Experience in medication management<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of providing nutritional needs through the use of feeding tubes<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and clean driving record<\/li>\n<li>CPR, First Aid and Water Safety Certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row fullwidth=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<a class=\"jv-button jv-button--orange\" href=\"https:\/\/jewish-option.docuware.cloud\/Docuware\/Platform\/WebClient\/Forms\/application-form?orgID=23de9974-eaf4-47d0-bc30-6c7d464fa8cd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Apply now<\/a> <a class=\"jv-button jv-button--gray\" style=\"float: right;\" href=\"\/careers\">Careers<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>[srp post_limit=&#8221;10&#8243;
