Welcome to our beautiful gated South Florida community located on 5.6 acres of palm trees, flowers, beautiful bronze statues of children at play, a swimming pool, bicycle path, basketball court, and playgrounds. The Jewish Children\u2019s Village is the only village of its kind in the Jewish community in the entire country. The campus consists of our children\u2019s emergency shelter and our six group homes which provide safety to up to 50 children at one time. Our Foster Care, Adoption, and Family Preservation programs and staff are also housed in the Kaminoff Children\u2019s Center on the Village campus, and collectively our Children\u2019s Village programs serve over 600 children and their families each year.<\/p>\n

This building houses the Marsh Children\u2019s Center and The Simon Family Center.\n\nThe Marsh Children\u2019s Center (Emergency Shelter)<\/b>\nThe Marsh Center provides emergency placement for an abused, neglected or at risk child immediately upon removal from the parent and is open to accept children at any hour, day or night, 7 days a week. All children placed in this center are experiencing the trauma of abuse, neglect or separation from their family. All efforts are made by the JAFCO staff and volunteers to make them feel safe, protected and loved.\n\nThe Simon Family Center\n<\/strong>Home of JAFCO\u2019s social work and administrative staff, the Simon Family Center is the location where all programs are facilitated. The Family Center also incorporates our Outpatient Therapy Program, staff social work offices, family visitation and therapy rooms, and pediatrician office. The JAFCO Therapy Program provides ongoing individual, group and family therapy as well as psychiatric services to the JAFCO children to help them heal from any trauma they have endured in their lives.\n\nThe JAFCO Group Home Program\n<\/strong>The 6 beautiful group homes are private one-story houses, with two car garages, located along a private residential street which overlooks a beautiful canal setting.
